In The Wings:
The Selkie’s Wife

Elisabeth Flett will spend her time at Mull Theatre working on Research and Development for The Selkie’s Wife. Elisabeth is an award-winning writer, theatre-maker, musician and general feminist trouble maker. She is passionate about mental health awareness, LGBTQ+ rights and gender equality, themes which often feature in all forms of her work as a creative practitioner.

From the creator of ROOTS (Fringe 2019) and cast member of the hit 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Bradán Theatre show My Lover Was A Salmon in the Climate Apocalypse, comes a ‘bewitching’ (Binge Fringe Magazine) new solo folk storytelling performance.

A tour de force of Flett’s award-winning career as a folk musician, folklorist, writer and theatre-maker, The Selkie’s Wife is full of live music, academic fun facts, storytelling, foley art - and maybe some queer revenge…
