Artist Calum Wallis will lead a day of drawing in the landscape at Kilninian Beach. While geological change is slow, it can be observed if one looks closely. In this workshop you’ll make drawings which mark a point in time, giving a fixed point against which change can be measured a month, a year or ten years from now.

Join artist Rhona Jack for a textile workshop exploring human marks on our natural and built environment. Using second hand materials, elements of printmaking and craft techniques centred around repair and mending, you will create textile artworks which can be used as decorative or functional objects.

Street photographer Ben Douglas will lead a photography workshop using polaroid cameras. With his guidance you’ll explore how curiosity, timing and composition can turn a simple observation into a profound one.

SOUP! is comical family performance in which two lively chefs use clowning antics, acrobatic dance and nonsense language to entice audiences into making a delicious, unique soup together. Collect your equipment from An Tobar and follow a self-guided route through woodland, shoreline and hidden corners of the park, encountering sculptural installations, environmental soundscapes and stories spanning thousands of years.

Created by Fast Familiar with Play:Vienna and An Tobar and Mull Theatre, and featuring the striking installation Spectrum of Belonging by Surface Agency, Invasive Species explores what it means to belong within a changing landscape shaped by migration, tourism, climate and human intervention.
