MANIPULATE’s Animated Highlights programme showcases a selection of award-winning short animated films from around the globe. All film programmes will be available to view online for 48 hours and will be fully captioned.
Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the restrictions to indoor events as a result of the Omicron variant, and the desire to prioritise the safety and comfort of our audiences and artists above all else, we will no longer present the live screening of this event at Summerhall, however the online event will proceed as planned.
With a dizzying array of animation styles and a packed programme of untold stories and exciting talent, we once again partner with Edinburgh Short Film Festival to bring you award-winning short animated films from around the globe.
Featuring new work fresh onto the festival circuit from diverse established and emerging talent from Scotland, Canada, Indonesia, England, France, USA and Ireland, the programme offers something for everyone whether new to animated film or an avid fan.
