An Tobar and Mull Theatre Youth Board Call Out
AT&MT are looking to appoint a collective of individuals from Mull aged between 14 and 25 to form our brand new Youth Board.
Our Youth Board volunteers will help us to shape the program of what we offer in our venues and how we use our spaces, as well as feed into our environmental sustainability and climate change policy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our organisation, find out what it means to sit on a board and develop invaluable skills for the future. We are interested in what you have to say and listening to work with you to help your perspective shape what we do.
We are looking for people who are passionate about their community, have an ambition to make change for the future, and want to empower the voices of young people on the island.

As a Youth Board member, you will have an active role in advising An Tobar and Mull Theatre on their existing ideas and policies and contribute to generating new ideas from the perspective of your age group, developing a diverse program of activity and ensuring we build an exciting and sustainable legacy for future generations. While we can’t promise to implement every idea that we might discuss at our Youth Board meetings we certainly promise to listen and absorb your thoughts into wider organisation discussions around our programme offerings and policies.
You will be an important advocate for the organisation while strengthening your skills in communication, teamwork and leadership. We want you to have ownership and pride in the work you do for us. Your responsibilities and duties as a Youth Board member will be a great addition to your CV or record of achievement
How often are the Youth Board meetings?
The Youth Board will meet in person 3 times during term times of the academic year and you will be required to attend all of the sessions. While the first meeting date is set, we aim to accommodate the availability of all Youth Board members thereafter.
